Chairman and co-founder – Gilles Babinet

Successfully created and managed various successful businesses as CEO. At the age of 24, he set up Absolut, a consultancy firm specializing in product design and marketing that became, under his management, a major consultancy group in its field in France.

Through Absolut, Gilles was involved in the emerging Entertainment mobile market from the very beginning and sold Absolut at the beginning of 2000 to Euro-RSCG, a worldwide communications group, in order to fully dedicate himself to the creation of Musiwave. In 5 years, Musiwave has become the leading European provider of mobile music and entertainment services to telecommunication operators and media (presence in more than 17 countries throughout the world along with 30 mobile operators). Musiwave has been sold to Openwave -a public American company – for $121M in Jan 2006. Gilles serves as non executive director in the Mobile Entertainment Forum as well as in the company Digicompanion.

Director – Simon Guildspent

14 years in the MTV Networks Group; before leaving MTV in January 2007, he occupied the position of President and CEO Europe, based in London. Guild was previously Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing MTV Networks Europe’s business operations such as Productions Europe, Broadcast Services, Finance, IS and Human Resources. Guild joined MTV Networks Europe in 1993 as Head of Strategy and Planning. He was promoted to COO in 1997. Simon joined Eyeka’s Board of Directors in April 2007.

Leadership Team

CEO – François Pétavy

has been focusing on the convergence between technology, marketing and content for more than 13 years. Before joining eYeka early 2008, he was a Director at eBay, in charge of developing the French marketplace on new areas of business. François’ past positions also include being a Producer at Ubi Soft (a video game publisher), and VP Project Management for AGENCY.COM:Paris (a digital agency). François Pétavy graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom ParisTech, and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Vice-President, Global Sales – Alexandre Olmedo

has passion for creating, managing and growing companies, and is the co-founder of eYeka. He focuses on eYeka's largest clients within key vertical industries including Food, Beverages, Automotive, High Tech, Financial Services. Prior to this role, Alexandre served as Managing Director of Streamezzo, PacketVideo Network Solutions and Board Director of the Mobile Entertainment Forum Asia which is the leading global trade association for companies across the mobile entertainment value chain. Raised in France, Alexandre has been resident in Spain, US, China, Malaysia & Singapore.

Vice-President, Product – Nicolas Borgis

leads eYeka’s Product strategy, development and marketing efforts. Prior to joining eYeka, Nicolas served as the Products & Services Director for online hotel booking FastBooking since 2008 where he directed the development of the company’s online hotel booking solutions. Nicolas Borgis began his career in 1996 with Netscape Communications. In 2000, he joined the Boston Consulting Group as a strategy consultant. In 2004 Nicolas joined Microsoft France as marketing manager for the public sector, then was given responsibility of developing of Microsoft’s business with the Web ecosystem. Nicolas holds an MSc from ENST (Telecom ParisTech) and an MBA from INSEAD.

Global Director, Insights & Innovation Solutions – Joël Céré

combines 13 years of senior, international experience in advertising, PR, media and digital with strategic planning models, an entrepreneurial attitude and a resolutely creative streak to provide innovative solutions to complex business and brand communication problems. A former Regional Vice President for public relations agency Hill& Knowlton, he led the development of the firm’s social media practice in Europe, Middle East and Africa, voted as Europe’s best in the 2004 Holmes Report.

Joël also led global change management programs for media agency Aegis, was lead brand strategist for advertising agency Bates 141, managed the financial, healthcare and consumer goods practice and the strategic planning offer for advertising agency Grey Interactive in the UK and co-founded one of Singapore’s first digital communication agency as well as a social shopping venture in California. Joel holds a MBA from the London Business School.

CFO - Alexis Beck Djevaguiroff

joined eYeka in August 2012 to lead Finance and Operations. Before joining eYeka, Alexis was Director of Finance & Business Analysis at Sequans Communications (4G Semiconductor Provider) where he contributed to grow the company from early stage to IPO. He previously held positions in finance as Corporate Controlling Manager at Radiall (electronic connectors), and Auditor at MBV & Associés.

Alexis graduated from European Business School.
